The Opportunity
As a Caregiver with Touching Hearts at Home, you will be the familiar face your clients count on to get through their day with comfort and confidence. You will build ongoing relationships, not just complete tasks, and you will see the direct impact of your support in your clients’ quality of life.
This role is a strong fit if you enjoy one-on-one care, want meaningful work beyond a traditional facility setting, and are looking to grow your skills in professional caregiving and client support.

- Plan and prepare nutritious meals that respect each client’s dietary needs, personal preferences, and routines.
- Provide timely medication reminders so clients stay on schedule, while leaving all dispensing and medical tasks to licensed professionals.
- Keep living spaces safe and pleasant through light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and general tidying.
- Offer companionship and engagement through conversation, games, hobbies, and outings that support emotional and mental well-being.
- Assist with transportation for errands, medical appointments, and social or recreational activities when needed.
- Observe and promptly report changes in a client’s condition or behavior to supervisory staff so concerns are addressed quickly.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and activity reports to document care provided and any notable observations.
- Follow all safety and infection-control protocols to prevent accidents and protect both clients and yourself.
What Success Looks Like
- Within your first few months, clients and families express trust in you as a reliable, respectful presence who helps them feel safe, heard, and supported at home.
- You consistently follow individualized care plans, complete assigned visits on time, and keep clear, accurate documentation of the services you provide.
- Supervisors can count on you to notice and report meaningful changes in client condition, helping the team respond quickly and appropriately.
- You demonstrate sound judgment in setting boundaries between non-medical supportive care and tasks that must be handled by healthcare professionals, while upholding company policies.
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age, with the maturity to enter clients’ homes and handle sensitive situations respectfully and professionally.
- Previous experience in caregiving, hospitality, or related service fields is preferred, along with a genuine desire to help others and build trusting relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to client care.
